What JIVULLAS is
An independent group in Bengaluru running weekend sessions for children in government schools and homes. Here is what we do, and what we are not.
What we do
We spend weekends running games, sport and craft for children in government schools and children's homes across Bengaluru East. We also run Wishbox: every child writes down one wish, and we try to grant it.
We go to where children already are. We do not run a centre, a school or a programme of our own, and we have no plans to.
What we are not
- Not a registered organisation. No trust, no society, no Section 8 company. We cannot issue 80G receipts and we are not asking anyone for money.
- Not a religious group. Nothing is preached, promoted or handed out at a session, ever.
- Not a tutoring service. We do not teach, test or assess. Schools already do that better than we could.
